About the role

  • Identify and acquire new customers as a Senior Sales Specialist responsible for IT solutions sales in the West region. Drive relationship management and oversee project proposals and negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • As a Senior Sales Specialist, you are responsible for identifying and acquiring new customers in the West region.
  • You will be accountable for the continuous development and expansion of sustainable new and existing customer relationships.
  • In addition, you will ensure solution-oriented, individualized customer support and advisory services and be responsible for selling the full range of our products and services (Colocation, Managed Hosting, SAP Hosting, Business Cloud & Servers, and IT Outsourcing), with a focus on Cloud Native Managed Services.
  • Your responsibilities also include delivering presentations at customer sites, preparing proposals supported by Presales and Solution Architects, and leading negotiations through to contract signing.
  • To continuously expand our product and service portfolio, you will monitor the market and competitor landscape.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in business or information technology, or several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Several years of experience selling IT solutions in a B2B environment, ideally in IT infrastructure, security, or data center contexts.
  • Familiarity with medium-sized and large enterprises.
  • Strong regional knowledge of West Germany, ideally including an established network within the region.
  • Knowledge of IT business models, including hybrid cloud services (public/private).
  • High level of commitment, persuasiveness, confident presence, and strong presentation skills.
  • Communicative, team-oriented personality with a pragmatic working style.
  • Curiosity, a drive for innovation, and willingness to travel.
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
