About the role

  • Sales Manager at Intertek specializing in the automotive sector. Responsible for B2B customer acquisition and tailored sales strategies in a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  • Independently identify and approach new B2B customers
  • Prepare proposals, including cost calculations, and follow up on offers
  • Develop tailored sales strategies to open new markets and win new customers, as well as to grow and develop existing accounts
  • Diligently pursue leads through to closing
  • Organize, execute and creatively design customer events
  • Professionally represent Intertek Certification GmbH at trade shows and industry events

Requirements

  • Degree in business administration, engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
  • Proven experience in sales (B2B), preferably with technically complex or consultative services
  • Strong network within the automotive industry
  • Solid knowledge of management system certification is advantageous
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with relevant programs, standards, specifications and regulations and to implement them fully
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Willingness to travel and a valid driving license (Class B)
