About the role

• Head of Finance leading UK Market unit for Westfalia Fruit in Poeldijk. Driving financial performance and strategic growth while fostering a high-performing finance team.

Responsibilities

• As a strategic finance partner, you’ll advise the European Finance Director and UK Market Director with data-driven insights, challenging commercial decisions and shaping the bigger picture through investment modelling, pricing strategy, and competitor analysis.
• You’ll own the UK’s financial performance—budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning—translating complex data into actionable insights, highlighting risks, and driving improvements in profitability.
• Leading a high-performing team, you’ll champion financial capability and a business-partnering mindset across the UK, while working closely with global colleagues to ensure alignment and share best practices.
• You’ll ensure robust financial governance, compliance with regulations and oversee internal and external audits, maintaining accuracy in all reporting.
• When it comes to capital and investment, you’ll drive financial rigour—evaluating proposals, leading business cases, and reviewing ROI to fuel strategic growth.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a finance leadership role within a commercial environment.
• Proven track record in strategic finance partnering, ideally in a market or regional leadership setting.
• Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams and driving cross-functional collaboration.
• Commercially savvy with strong analytical and influencing skills.
