About the role

  • Betriebsleiter overseeing a modern Cook&Chill kitchen in Berlin. Leading operations, staff management, and ensuring quality food service for seniors.

Responsibilities

  • Management, organization and further development of the entire kitchen operation
  • Ensuring high-quality, balanced meal provision
  • Staff leadership, scheduling and motivation of the kitchen team
  • Production planning and control for approximately 1,000 meals daily
  • Cost control, inventory management and budget responsibility
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards (HACCP, occupational safety, cost-effectiveness)
  • Close collaboration and communication with clients and department management

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a cook/chef
  • Additional qualification as Küchenmeister (master chef/kitchen manager), hotel business administrator or similar qualifications advantageous
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership skills, organizational talent and a team-oriented approach
  • Responsible and structured working style
  • Good communication skills
