About the role

  • Marketing Specialist driving measurable performance in social commerce for Maker Lab. Spearheading creator-led initiatives while managing projects and engaging content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Own monthly/weekly strategy, GMV pacing, and content direction for creator and social commerce programs.
  • Maintain and review all performance trackers to ensure data integrity and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate budget, SKU priority, and bonus mechanics closely with Product Marketing (PM) and Social Commerce teams.
  • Lead workshops, coaching, and capability-building programs for creators to enhance their performance and output.
  • Set weekly acquisition targets (quota of new creators) and manage the creator onboarding pipeline.
  • Evaluate the quality and potential ROI of newly onboarded creators to ensure a high-performing network.
  • Provide frameworks for the executional role to scale daily operations efficiently.
  • Ensure overall campaign and always-on quality control across all creator-led content.
  • Analyse competitor shifts and category trends to identify strategic advantages and new content opportunities.
  • Manage key opinion leaders (KOLs) and creators across all brands, including comprehensive briefing, drafting content calendars, and deploying essential toolkits from brand teams to ensure seamless collaboration and execution.
  • Track and analyse social content performance across platforms like TikTok, identifying emerging trends and actionable insights. Collaborate closely with the media team to amplify successful assets and optimise content reach.
  • Help build and manage strong relationships with influencers and micro-creators throughout various verticals to increase authentic advocacy and brand love, and facilitate content creation where appropriate.

Requirements

  • A degree in business, commerce, or marketing is preferred, or equivalent industry experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, affiliate marketing and social commerce
  • A strategic and creative thinker who can navigate around an always-on social landscape, with a proven ability to curate and develop trend-leading content.
  • Experience working directly with Creators and KOLs.
  • Ability to bring order and attention to detail to complex stages of each project.
  • Prior experience in communicating with local and geographically dispersed stakeholders to deliver clear instructions and messaging.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
