About the role
- IT Support Specialist enabling remote learning and managing installations for WBS GRUPPE in Magdeburg. Collaborating with teams to ensure network maintenance and support.
Responsibilities
- As an IT Support Specialist, you are part of the central Digital Services and Solutions division of WBS GRUPPE and enable people to learn regardless of location.
- As the point of contact for our participants, trainers and colleagues, you support the planning, installation and maintenance of the training and administrative networks at our locations in the Magdeburg region.
- Provision of IT workstation equipment for employees and clients.
- Regular optimization of installations (functional, technical, visual).
- On-site service for network and server components.
- Partnership-based collaboration with customers, trainers and colleagues.
- Close cooperation on projects with the central IT team.
Requirements
- IT-affine career changers, trained IT specialists (Fachinformatiker) or equivalent qualifications.
- Basic knowledge of networking and MS Windows systems, along with good hardware and software skills.
- Quick learner with a hands-on mentality, strong communication skills and fluent German (good English skills are an advantage).
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region (approx. 100 km). A company car for professional and private use is provided.
