IT Support Engineer providing 1st & 2nd level technical support in the medical field. Responsible for hardware and software maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting in medical practices.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to medical practices at 1st and 2nd level (telephone/remote)
Analyze and resolve faults in IT systems and practice management software (especially T2med)
Install and maintain hardware, networks, and medical devices
Support implementation of IT security concepts and data protection policies
Document work in the ticketing system and work closely with field service technicians
Occasionally perform small on-site service visits at customer locations
Requirements
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration) or equivalent qualification
Experience in technical support, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
Solid knowledge of Windows domains (Active Directory), networking (VLANs, firewalls, port forwarding) and IT security
Experience with macOS, Linux and virtualization (Hyper-V, Proxmox) is a plus
Strong technical understanding and experience documenting work in a ticketing system
Strong communication skills; highly customer-focused and a team player
Strong organizational skills; able to work independently and goal-oriented
Valid driver's license (Class B / car)
Good German language skills, both written and spoken
