About the role

  • IT Support Engineer providing 1st & 2nd level technical support in the medical field. Responsible for hardware and software maintenance, analysis, troubleshooting in medical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to medical practices at 1st and 2nd level (telephone/remote)
  • Analyze and resolve faults in IT systems and practice management software (especially T2med)
  • Install and maintain hardware, networks, and medical devices
  • Support implementation of IT security concepts and data protection policies
  • Document work in the ticketing system and work closely with field service technicians
  • Occasionally perform small on-site service visits at customer locations

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist – System Integration) or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in technical support, ideally in a medical/healthcare environment
  • Solid knowledge of Windows domains (Active Directory), networking (VLANs, firewalls, port forwarding) and IT security
  • Experience with macOS, Linux and virtualization (Hyper-V, Proxmox) is a plus
  • Strong technical understanding and experience documenting work in a ticketing system
  • Strong communication skills; highly customer-focused and a team player
  • Strong organizational skills; able to work independently and goal-oriented
  • Valid driver's license (Class B / car)
  • Good German language skills, both written and spoken
