About the role
- Program Manager leading automotive development activities at Volkswagen Group Services. Coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project strategy and execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead program activities from concept to SOP, aligning scope, cost, schedule and quality with VWCO and VW Argentina strategic goals by coordinating internal cross-functional teams and global suppliers.
- Manage program strategy across all phases for products and processes, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic and financial objectives.
- Manage and collaborate with key stakeholders in global portfolio management, consolidating market requirements and trends, technological innovation, regulations and other demands for continuous product development and updates.
- Manage the change process (across all project phases and the product lifecycle) for all parties (VWCO, VW Argentina and partner companies).
- Manage project execution, ensuring completion of activities up to SOP, monitoring schedules, ensuring cost control, investments, scope changes, identifying risks and defining mitigation plans.
- Manage team activities, keeping the team motivated and capable to deliver the required outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related fields; MBA/postgraduate desirable.
- Fluent Spanish (mandatory).
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- 5+ years in management of complex industrial/automotive projects, with experience in new product development or industrialization.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and interfacing with global suppliers.
- Proficiency in PMBOK / Stage-Gate / hybrid Agile methodologies and tools such as MS Project or similar, SAP/PPM, Excel and Power BI.
- Project management certifications (PMP®, PRINCE2®, Agile PM) desirable.
