About the role

  • Analista de Operações de Vôo supporting data-driven flight operations with a focus on punctuality analysis and execution. Join the company aiming to revolutionize Brazilian aviation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare executive materials for Managers, Directors and Vice Presidents on punctuality using delay data provided by the Data Analytics team, suggesting actions and influencing decision-making.
  • Create presentations for weekly punctuality alignment meetings with areas involved in company operations using Delay Code data provided by the Data Analytics team.
  • Analyze data provided by Gol’s Data Analytics team or by external systems (e.g., ANAC statistical data, Cirium) that offer important information about our operational performance and that of our competitors (e.g., on-time performance, ground time, performance by time-of-day), and propose actions to improve operational efficiency (e.g., reducing actual ground time, improving performance in critical time windows).
  • Use Continuous Improvement tools (PDCA, DMAIC, Ishikawa diagram, 5W2H) to identify root causes of problems and define corresponding actions.
  • Monitor the progress of improvements to be implemented through follow-up with the areas involved in punctuality.
  • Define the assumptions for delay code assignments, including the company’s Delay Code table and the Gantt table for standard processes.
  • Review delay codes assigned by airports and validate that they are attributed according to the assumptions established by the On-time Performance team, proposing changes and clarifications when necessary. Correctly assigned delay codes are essential for identifying root causes.
  • Analyze the planned network/schedule in advance, identifying sensitive points and risks to punctuality. When applicable, suggest changes to the network planning team and ensure punctuality considerations are addressed.
  • Analyze operational efficiency target results provided by the Data Analytics team and provide input to build action plans together with the relevant areas. Ensure execution of those action plans through weekly alignment meetings.
  • Represent the area, as needed, in meetings with external stakeholders (e.g., Air Navigation Management Center) and suppliers, leading discussions to diagnose problems and jointly develop solutions.
