About the role

• Software Architect implementing clean code and cloud solutions for Vivo. Collaborating with teams to design software architecture and optimize processes in São Paulo.

Responsibilities

• Implement and promote clean code, automated testing, code review and DevSecOps practices with a cross-squad perspective;
• Assess the impact of new requirements on current schemas, design evolutions with zero downtime and optimize high-volume queries;
• Define reference architecture, estimate effort, manage risks and drive deliveries to production;
• Develop solutions using React on the front end and Spring Boot/Java or equivalent on the back end, exposing RESTful APIs and Kafka events;
• Lead hands-on PoCs for AI/Low-Code, containers and Cloud Native services to validate business value;
• Coordinate solution design together with Developers, QA, Security and FinOps, seeking technical consensus;
• Serve as a technical point of contact for questions, sharing knowledge through guilds and brown-bag sessions;
• Monitor technology trends and best practices and publish insights for the team;
• Propose AI-driven automation for reconciliations, fraud detection or cloud cost optimization (FinOps);
• Orchestrate dependencies and minimize cross-system impacts;
• Map end-to-end flows, challenge requirements and translate them into clear technical stories;
• Having expertise in the Revenue Cycle will be a significant advantage;
• Oversee and coordinate development work by internal or external suppliers;
• Transform a client's stated problem into a solution by performing feasibility analysis from both a business and systems perspective, gathering requirements, producing technical specifications and documentation, and monitoring development and testing progress;
• Participate in meetings with other IT and product teams to find solutions and the best path for development, exploring new technologies through prototypes and proofs of concept and providing technical support to the team.

Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related fields is a plus;
• Experience in software architecture;
• Experience in billing, invoicing and charge formatting is desirable;
• Cloud certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect);
• Intermediate English and Spanish are desirable;
• Experience with application integration tools and services is desirable;
• Experience in projects using Agile methodology is desirable;
• Experience with Telecom projects and the Revenue Cycle is a plus;
• Experience with cloud systems, hexagonal architecture/microservices, DevOps and event-driven architectures;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• Innovative profile with curiosity and initiative in driving digital transformation;
• Remote position, but residency in Greater São Paulo (SP) is required.
