About the role
- Workday Functional Consultant leading design and configuration of Core HCM and Compensation modules. Acting as primary architect for Workday security models and serving as SME for Workday Reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Core HCM and Compensation modules
- Act as the primary architect for Workday security models
- Lead discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to elicit high-level business requirements
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Workday Reporting
- Partner with business owners to develop comprehensive test strategies
- Provide Tier 3 functional support by troubleshooting complex system issues
- Work closely with People/HR teams and product developers to evaluate Workday releases
Requirements
- Proven track record in Workday Core HCM, Compensation, and the Report Writer toolset
- Exceptional ability to perform deep-dive data analysis and translate raw data into actionable insights through Calculated Fields and Dashboards
- A mindset focused on continuous improvement, identifying "friction points" in current workflows and proposing automated or streamlined solutions
- Highly articulate with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
