About the role

• Junior IT Production Analyst providing operational support for critical information systems at Vivo, ensuring timely response to alarms and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st- and 2nd-line operational support for OCS systems, ensuring timely response to alarms, execution of procedures, incident logging, and support for routine activities under the supervision of more experienced analysts.
• Monitor alarms, dashboards, and health checks for mission-critical systems.
• Execute standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident response.
• Perform basic technical analysis of logs and simple queries in databases (Oracle/MongoDB).
• Monitor batch process executions (Control-M), report and handle failures.
• Record incidents in the ITSM system and perform initial incident handling.
• Support change window executions: simple validations, checklists, and smoke tests.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and simple automations (shell scripts, Java, Perl, etc.).
• Document incidents and procedures.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of Linux (commands, file analysis, process management).
• Basic SQL knowledge for simple queries.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, ports, processes).
• Basic programming logic (shell scripting or a similar language).
• Preferred: familiarity with Java, Python, Perl, C++, Linux shell scripting, or concepts of distributed applications.
• Preferred: experience with monitoring tools.
• Undergraduate studies in IT or related fields in progress; degrees in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering are a plus.
