About the role

  • Consultant managing foreign trade operations for Vivo. Leading projects and supporting logistical processes while optimizing costs across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for the Foreign Trade department on complex, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring alignment between internal areas and external suppliers;
  • Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support onboarding and qualification of new global suppliers;
  • Support leadership on executive matters by providing analyses, solutions and alternatives that contribute to the sector's growth and continuous process improvement;
  • Provide technical support for the justification and approval of new purchasing projects for imported materials, supplying inputs for decision-making;
  • Support the company's and its affiliates' import and export operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational efficiency;
  • Lead and structure new import projects, ensuring planning, execution and governance of foreign trade–related topics (COMEX);
  • Manage the BID process and contracting of trading companies, ensuring technical, financial and operational criteria are met;
  • Provide operational support to the procurement/contracting process, including PxQ, purchase requisitions (RC) and preparation of basic project documents;
  • Monitor changes in customs and tax legislation, analyze impacts on the company and propose appropriate solutions;
  • Stay up to date on tax incentives, special regimes and tax alternatives (such as ex-tariff), evaluating their applicability;
  • Execute and manage tax classification processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in operations;
  • Define, develop and improve internal department processes, promoting integration and efficiency with other company areas;
  • Lead the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring adherence to foreign trade processes and quality standards;
  • Generate, analyze and control operational and financial metrics, driving corrective actions and improvements based on data;
  • Support the management and evolution of the area's KPIs, including KPI development, analysis and reporting to stakeholders;
  • Participate in structured problem-solving activities, driving continuous improvement and a culture of operational excellence;
  • Train the team in operational activities and process management, disseminating best practices and strengthening a high-performance culture.

Requirements

  • Advanced/Fluent English (will be assessed during the selection process);
  • Solid experience with Foreign Trade routines and operations;
  • Good knowledge of Accounting and Taxation in Import processes, focused on projects involving pricing of imported products;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, conditionals, charts and pivot tables) for data analysis and reporting;
  • Previous experience as a consultant, coordinator or specialist in Foreign Trade;
  • Degree in Foreign Trade, International Relations, Business Administration or related fields;
  • Dynamic, independent, self-motivated, proactive, assertive and resilient personality;
  • Experience with operations via Trading Company (Account-and-Order and/or commission/consignment arrangements);
  • Experience with projects under special customs regimes;
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP, modules MM and FI;
  • Advanced Spanish.
