Senior Global People Operations Specialist managing employee lifecycle and global mobility at Vercel. Collaborating cross-functionally and improving People Ops processes for a global team in tech.
Responsibilities
Serve as the first escalation point for employee and manager HR-related queries, delivering timely and accurate resolution with empathy and clarity
Manage and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, and related People Ops workflows for our employees globally, outside and within the US
Drive global mobility programs, including immigration, relocation, and international transfers, ensuring seamless experiences for employees and hiring managers.
Oversee day-to-day vendor relationships with global EOR and benefits providers across 25+ countries
Maintain and evolve documentation for key People Ops processes, policies, and standard operating procedures
Support internal projects to enhance systems, tools, and operational efficiency within the People function
Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to execute employee lifecycle changes and ensure data integrity in core HR systems
Partner with our Legal team to ensure compliance activities related to local labor regulations and internal policy updates
Act as liaison to the Workplace team, ensuring seamless coordination and onsite support for employees and office operations.
Partner with the payroll team on both US and non-US leave management and assist with the accurate and timely closure of bi-monthly payroll.
Support contingent workforce operations, managing frameworks for compliant and flexible engagement models globally.
Requirements
7+ years of HR Operations experience with a focus on employee lifecycle management, HR systems, and vendor coordination
Have a proven track record working within global or hypergrowth tech environments
Are passionate about crafting exceptional employee experiences through thoughtful processes
Deep understanding of US and EMEA employment policies and practices, and knowledge about APAC is a plus
Experience working with global teams and collaborating across time zones
Experience working with EOR providers and benefits vendors across multiple EMEA and APAC countries
Experience working in global mobility - immigration, visas, international relocations and transfers
Demonstrated ability to manage escalations, navigate complexity, and deliver solutions that scale
High integrity and discretion when dealing with sensitive employee data and situations
Obsessive over the details and have expertise in developing internal documentation or process guides
Have contributed to building or improving internal knowledge systems or employee-facing support content
