About the role
- Operational Controls Analyst responsible for implementing and monitoring operational controls for Veolia's industrial operations. Analyzing data to mitigate risks and ensure information reliability.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for implementing, monitoring and improving operational controls
- Ensure the reliability of information, process compliance and risk mitigation for Industrial Operations
- Design, develop and deploy operational controls together with operations teams
- Analyze operational metrics to identify, assess and mitigate risks based on established controls
- Analyze data to support decision-making, prioritize improvement initiatives and measure operational and financial gains
- Identify bottlenecks, patterns and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Ensure the reliability and integrity of management information
- Map and document operational processes
- Develop dashboards and management reports
- Identify operational risks, propose improvements and recommend action plans
- Conduct control effectiveness tests
- Train teams in the use of analytical tools and controls
- Prepare, ensure and follow up on action plans to be applied in operations
- Identify opportunities to automate operational processes and work to implement the agreed solution alongside the technology and operations teams
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Science, Information Technology or related fields
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Project Management, Business Analytics or Business Intelligence
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in operational controls, data processing and consolidation, data analysis and experience implementing controls and performance indicators
- Knowledge of: Power BI, Power Apps, Python, Looker Studio, advanced Excel/Google Sheets, SQL
