About the role

Responsibilities
- Execute and analyze activities related to inventory and costing, as well as daily routines and month-end/closing processes
- Reconcile inventory accounts, ensuring they agree with the general ledger and are updated for each period
- Identify and map monthly variances and assist in explaining the figures
- Control and maintain organization of SOX documentation and controls
- Assist with information required to establish accounting provisions
- Assist and contribute to the implementation of proposed improvements for the area
- Assist in preparing supporting documentation for annual inventories
- Assist in compiling documents requested by internal and external auditors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Knowledge and experience in accounting is desirable
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience with inventory reconciliations is desirable
