Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve incidents related to disk subsystems, storage systems, SAN switches, and associated assets.
- Work with any components that comprise the Mainframe infrastructure.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Experience administering and configuring backup solutions such as NetWorker, IBM Spectrum Protect, and Mainframe storage systems.
- Management experience with SMS, GRS, VSAM environments and disk controllers.
- Familiarity with Data Domain System Manager (storage solution).
- Knowledge of PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM) backup solution.
- Knowledge of Dell DPA (Data Protection Advisor) reporting solution.
- Knowledge of IBM Spectrum Protect Operations Center.
