About the role

  • Support Engineer responsible for L2/L3 technical support for Vendavo's products. Bridging technical support, business understanding, and customer service in a highly technical role.

Responsibilities

  • The Support Engineer will be part of Vendavo's Global Support organization, providing L2/L3 technical support to enterprise customers.
  • This is a highly technical role focused on deep investigation and root cause analysis - not scripted troubleshooting.
  • It's a great fit for engineers or analysts looking to step into a customer-facing technical position.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SQL is essential - you must be able to independently write and execute queries for troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, comfortable reading application logs and stack traces to identify root causes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English - you will engage directly with enterprise customers and be expected to communicate complex technical findings clearly and professionally.
  • End-to-end ownership of customer cases, from intake through resolution - reliable, accountable, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to replicate reported issues and document bugs or enhancement requests accurately for engineering teams.
  • Experience with JIRA or Salesforce is a plus, but can be learned on the job.
  • Flexibility to work EMEA hours as part of a global support team.
