About the role

  • Team Lead for Blade Technical Support at Nordex. Responsible for servicing and improving fleet reliability for wind energy projects from Chennai, India.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support remotely for main converters of variety of suppliers in service
  • Interdisciplinary project work as technical expert to improve the fleet reliability
  • Should handle Team
  • Be a leading example in maintaining high standards of HSE and quality
  • Prepare and verify technical documentation
  • Representing Service interest again suppliers
  • Advancement of main converter trainings
  • Troubleshooting of complex failures / areas and also be responsible for RCA

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years in blade service engineering & should have minimum 2+ years experience in team leadership
  • Experience in Lead, motivate, and mentor the Blade Service Engineering team
  • Should have experinec in resource planning, allocate workloads, and monitor execution
  • Should approve/review technical evaluations, reports, and RCA
  • Act as primary interface with global regions and partners
  • Decision-making and conflict management
  • Willingness to travel
