Strategic Account Manager responsible for sales and profitability in the Sport Business Unit at Veepee. Collaborating with brands and internal teams for business success on all markets.
Responsibilities
Assigned within the Sport Business Unit, on an international scope, you are responsible for achieving sales and profitability levels for your portfolio accounts and their performance on all Veepee markets (international).
You will prepare, sell and implement business plans with brands or groups identified as strategic for all the Group's products and services, based on an accurate understanding of their needs and ecosystems.
You are responsible for building and developing strong internal relationships with all relevant teams, ensuring the best business solutions and operational excellence for strategic accounts.
Be an ambassador for the Group's value proposition and products (flash sales, marketplace etc.) and position Veepee as a strategic partner for brands.
Prepare and sell medium and long-term strategic plans: account mapping, market and needs analysis, preparation of the offer, definition of the main actions to be implemented, negotiation of conditions at brand management level, proactive evaluation and constant revalidation of account needs, etc.
Implement strategic plans : guarantee execution of the plan within the given deadlines in collaboration with all Veepee teams (sales, marketing, production, finance, supply chain).
Develop knowledge of brand catalogs to renew offers and adapt business formats.
Be proactive in keeping up with the latest news on brands, the sector and market trends.
Measure performance and prepare reports on the main monitoring KPIs, with actions to be implemented according to results.
Maintain a cross-service Veepee and international view of the account throughout the partnership.
Ensure customer networking at local level (France management) and initiate or pursue contact at European management level (headquarters) with a goal of building a global partnership.
Prospect key brands to initiate business on Veepee services (flash sales, marketplace, media, etc.)
Requirements
With a degree in business or marketing, you have at least 6 years' experience in key account management. Ideally, you have already worked on international projects.
Sector-specific knowledge is appreciated (or a strong appetence).
You are a highly technical salesperson with excellent prospecting, sales negotiation and objection handling skills;
You know how to understand financial issues (P&L, depreciation), manage a budget and ensure commercial follow-up (KPI, performance analysis, etc.).
You are business-oriented and perseverant.
You are able to work with different teams and have excellent interpersonal skills.
You have a good command of Excel and fluent English. German is a plus.
