Product Sales Manager for Energy & Air Systems at Valmet. Engage with customers, develop proposals, and optimize production processes in Italian locations.
Responsibilities
Pursue sales leads, visit customers, and work toward agreed sales targets across the Energy & Air Systems portfolio.
Assess customer needs and propose suitable technologies, products, and services.
Negotiate pricing and delivery times within defined authority limits and finalize sales orders.
Identify and contact prospective customers, building long‑term, trust‑based relationships.
Collaborate with Sales, Application, Product Management, Engineering, and Field Services to create technical and commercial proposals.
Develop commercial and technical proposals (dimensioning, layouts, specifications, cost/price proposals), highlighting the impact on production process, equipment and running costs.
Prepare process calculations and basic requirements using Valmet dimensioning tools.
Carry out mill audits, analyze collected data and prepare reports, presentations and recommended solutions.
Provide support to all Market Areas in defining the scope of supply and preparing quotations in compliance with Valmet technical specifications and commercial policies.
Requirements
Technical Diploma in a mechanical, electrical, electronic, or software-related field; an Engineering degree in a similar discipline is preferred.
At least five years of experience in engineering, technology, or sales roles.
Skilled at converting customer needs into sales opportunities.
Strong relationship-building abilities in an international matrix environment.
Knowledge of Tissue production processes is considered an advantage.
Travel readiness is required.
Fluency in both English and Italian.
