About the role

  • District Sales Manager overseeing a team of Territory Managers selling food products in Tennessee. Achieving sales objectives and managing account acquisition and service strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a group of Territory Managers (TMs) in the selling of the Company's products and services
  • Direct TMs against opportunities in closing and new account acquisition within a specified district
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to TMs to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives
  • Lead a group of TMs to achieve Division sales and penetration objectives
  • Submit and administer annual street sales operating plan and operating budget
  • Research, develop and maintain long and short range sales plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field or equivalent experience required
  • A minimum of five years of foodservice sales experience required
  • A minimum of two years of supervisory experience required
  • Must have proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
