Responsibilities

  • Defines and drives talent strategies for assigned function or line of business
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to senior executive leaders
  • Leads complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Leverages advanced analytics, market benchmarks, and emerging trends
  • Develop and elevate the HRBP community
  • Synthesizes line of business insights and priorities
  • Partners across HR COEs to simplify, digitize, and improve HR service delivery
  • Champions a high-performance, inclusive culture
  • Partners with Finance and senior leaders to align workforce plans
  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; OR 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of degree
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in one or more human resources disciplines
  • 4 years of experience leading complex initiatives, cross-functional projects or people
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business, Analytics or equivalent
  • Active SPHR or SHRM-CP Certification
  • Insurance industry experience
  • Experience serving as a strategic HR partner to contact center or high-volume operational organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to develop talent through direct leadership, matrix leadership, and/or mentoring and coaching
  • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders to drive the human resources agenda
  • Integrity and the ability to handle sensitive personnel and compliance-related issues
  • Demonstrated experience benchmarking and implementing "best in class" HR strategies, processes and programs
  • Strong understanding of the business vision, strategy, financial priorities and performance measures and cycle
