About the role
- Sales Associate contributing to retail sales by providing an engaging customer experience in an organized store environment. Responsible for processing transactions and maintaining store appearance.
Responsibilities
- Initiates conversation with customers as they enter the store and informs them of current promotions
- Supports a selling environment in all areas of the sales floor by connecting with multiple customers, sharing product information, and helping to maintain a well-kept, clean store
- Processes sales for the customer accurately and efficiently as a cashier
- Contributes to the store by being positive, respectful, and helpful to others
- Collaborates with peers and leadership, sharing ideas and jumping in to support the needs of the team
- Exhibits a willingness to learn and adapt; is flexible to change and open to try new ways of doing things
- Ensures timeliness and accountability to scheduled shifts to support a well-staffed, positive environment
- Maintains visual and operational standards while keeping the focus on the customer
- Supports processing shipment, tagging, staging, and placing new product
- Adheres to store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and upholds all company policy and procedures to support the profitability of the store
