B2B Sourcing Manager role at Upway, a leading platform for certified refurbished e-bikes. Focused on scaling B2B sourcing and partnerships while driving sustainable mobility growth.
Responsibilities
Prospect, Close, and Onboard New Retail Partners: Identify, approach and onboard independent bike shops and regional chains in your territory. Your objective is to convert cold prospects into active partners who use Upway’s trade-in tool daily.
Unlock ‘Fleet’ Opportunities: Map the B2B, rental and leasing ecosystem. Negotiate ad-hoc bulk B2B deals to secure high-quality stock for our UpCenter.
Build Long-Term Trust: The bike industry is relationship-driven. Be an available and reliable partner, equally comfortable discussing technical specifications with a mechanic and negotiating contracts with a business owner.
Deploy Additional Services: Leverage your network of trusted partners to support the rollout of new services as we scale the trade-in platform into a full B2B ecosystem (including pickup, drop-off, maintenance, B2B sales, etc.).
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in B2B sales or business development. Experience in the cycling industry is a plus, but we prioritize strong sales DNA (FMCG, SaaS, field sales).
Hunter Mindset: You’re willing to push through resistance and enjoy the challenge of closing new deals — you don’t take ‘no’ for an answer easily.
Road Warrior: You’re energized by fieldwork and willing to travel 60–80% of the time within your region. You can be based in Paris, Lyon, Toulouse, Bordeaux or Nice to facilitate travel.
Analytical Hustle: You use data to prioritize targets and optimize routes.
Languages: Native-level French and professional proficiency in English (for internal reporting).
