About the role

  • IT Service Manager connecting clients and tech teams, overseeing service delivery cycles and managing projects. Ensuring clients receive outstanding service and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

  • You are the link between our clients and our technical teams.
  • Take responsibility for the entire service lifecycle, from request to operation.
  • Manage, coordinate and inspire, ensuring our clients are always exceptionally supported.
  • Provide personal, direct support to our clients with real service passion.
  • Maintain a continuous, needs-based dialogue and ensure close alignment with clients.
  • Ensure transparent and meaningful reporting.
  • Coordinate, manage and monitor our services and service agreements reliably and proactively.
  • Keep an overview during business-critical incidents (Major Incidents) and ensure a rapid resolution.
  • Log changes, assess them and manage their implementation.
  • Lead small to medium-sized projects and coordinate the entire project portfolio.
  • Identify operational optimization opportunities and actively drive improvements.

Requirements

  • You hold a qualification as a (business) computer scientist (HF) or an equivalent qualification.
  • You have solid experience in IT service management, IT Pre-Sales or IT project management, ideally in a managed services environment.
  • You have a deep understanding of infrastructure, outsourcing and cloud services, as well as experience in service delivery management.
  • You demonstrate methodological strength in project management, presenting and solution-oriented, networked thinking.
  • You are hands-on, get things done and deliver results – a true doer with a practical mindset.
  • You communicate confidently in German (native speaker or at least C1) and English (at least B2).
