About the role

  • Administrative Assistant providing complete support to internal medical teams and ensuring operational efficiency at Unimed Nacional. Responsible for customer service and handling authorization processes.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer support for incoming requests via phone, email or digital channels.
  • Issue and approve authorizations for procedures, exams, hospital admissions and for scheduling consultations and procedures resulting from provider network searches.
  • Perform administrative support activities for processes related to client requests received in provider network searches / FDA, Unimeds and Providers, with the primary objective of complying with the deadlines established by RN 259/268 and ensuring quality and client satisfaction in the authorization issuance process. If necessary, log the provider network request and perform plan eligibility verification.
  • Monitor activities through daily reports for each function, extracting cases from the management system for day-to-day handling and for tracking team activity reports.
  • Prepare reports, forms and spreadsheets, collecting information and reviewing metrics and indicators.
  • Create indicator spreadsheets, organizational charts and flowcharts, as well as various reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; preferably currently pursuing higher education
