About the role

  • UX Research Intern for a fin-tech company in Vietnam, focusing on qualitative and quantitative research. Gaining hands-on experience in research operations with opportunities to travel abroad.

Responsibilities

  • Support both quantitative and qualitative UX research across the full research lifecycle, from planning to synthesis.
  • Assist in designing and running quantitative studies, including writing questionnaires, setting up survey logic, programming surveys, and monitoring data quality.
  • Support qualitative research activities such as note-taking, transcription review, tagging, and assisting in synthesis of interviews or usability tests.
  • Help clean, structure, and analyze research data (quant and qual), translating raw inputs into clear, actionable insights.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining research repositories, ensuring insights, reports, and datasets are well-organized, searchable, and reusable.
  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., Claude, transcription tools, text analysis) to streamline research workflows, including summarization, coding, and insight generation — while critically evaluating output quality.
  • Experiment with and improve internal research workflows by integrating AI where appropriate (e.g., speeding up synthesis, survey analysis, or documentation).
  • Observe and collaborate with experienced researchers, participating in research planning, discussions, and critiques.

Requirements

  • A portfolio or academic project demonstrating end-to-end research experience (planning, execution, and synthesis), including both qualitative and/or quantitative methods.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Statistics, Sociology, Psychology, Communications Research, HCI, or related fields.
  • Foundational understanding of research methods, including survey design and at least one qualitative method (e.g., interviews, usability testing).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, and survey platforms (e.g., Google Forms, SurveyMonkey, Maze).
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, transcription or analysis tools) to support research workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when working with data, survey logic, or qualitative notes.
