About the role

  • Senior ServiceNow Developer at Truist enhancing ServiceNow capabilities across the platform. Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions while focusing on Service Catalog and integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, UI policies, and client scripts
  • Build and enhance custom ServiceNow applications using scoped applications and best practice architecture
  • Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and scripted integrations
  • Write clean, efficient server side and client side scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, etc.)
  • Collaborate with product owners, process owners, and platform architects to refine requirements and technical designs
  • Ensure solutions align with ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and upgrade readiness
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, defects, and performance concerns
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and ongoing optimization efforts
  • Contribute to documentation, technical standards, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and eight to twelve years of experience as a developer or equivalent education and related training or experience
  • 5+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience
  • Deep specialized and/or broad functional knowledge
  • Sound understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes
  • Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices
  • Ability to lead complex projects
  • Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems
  • Ability to influence others at senior levels to adopt a new perspective
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CAD, CIS – Application Development)
