About the role

  • Responsible and accountable for the design, cost and operation of the following technical areas:
  • Microsoft Windows servers (2016-2022) and related infrastructure
  • Microsoft Active Directory and DNS
  • VMWare 7 administration (VCP level)
  • Experience working in O365 and Azure
  • Using SCCM; patching and maintaining the infrastructure according to Global information security standards
  • Backup system (Veritas Netbackup or Veeam) and system backups, including recovery testing
  • Administration of Citrix v7
  • MS SCCM administration (packaging & deployment)
  • System capacity and monitoring solutions using Solarwinds or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Power Apps or Power Automate
  • **How you could stretch this role:**
  • Suggest improvements to the department’s processes and procedures (where appropriate), encouraging a work culture of continuous improvement.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Windows 2016-2022 administration
  • Active Directory architecture
  • VMware to VCP level
  • WAN/LAN Network topology
  • Experience in support of O365
  • SCCM administration experience including W10 desktop setup
  • Experience supporting Veritas Netbackup or Veeam
  • Understanding of ITIL principles, including Change management
