Responsibilities
- Maintains, supports, and enhances functional and technical aspects of IBM Maximo Real Estate & Facilities
- Manages daily issues and problem-solving related to technology applications used by the business
- Supports operational tasks in the project lifecycle, including preparation, gathering and analysis of business requirements
- Develops, manages, and implements detailed project documentation and plans
- Provides work direction to team members, assesses progress, and authorizes project sign-off
- Supervises and trains assigned staff to ensure teamwork and standards of quality
- Determines efficient implementation of system changes and monitors timelines
- Chairs and participates in sub-committees for identifying support needs
- Maintains knowledge of IBM Maximo for current and upcoming technological advancements
- Researches and recommends solutions to enhance system functionality
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and application support experience related to the IBM Maximo Real Estate and Facilities module
- Demonstrated ability to grasp technical concepts related to application design, programming, and support
- Extensive experience supporting large and complex projects or teams
- Experience using and supporting mobile field service applications
- IBM certification in the area of Real Estate & Facilities or equivalent combination of education/related experience is an asset
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prepare, organize and present project documentation
- Ability to analyze/troubleshoot issues and create functional specifications for custom developments
- Demonstrated ability to learn new business concepts and technologies quickly
- Ability to use project management tools and methods
- Extensive research, analytical, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team member in a multidisciplinary team
