About the role

  • Recruiter sourcing and hiring exceptional engineers for Tin Can, a startup enhancing childhood connectivity. Focus on full-cycle recruiting with ambitious hiring goals for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and ideal candidate profiles
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networks, referrals, and creative outreach strategies
  • Screen candidates for technical fit, experience, and alignment with Tin Can’s mission and values
  • Coordinate and manage interview loops, feedback collection, and candidate communication
  • Ensure a high-quality, inclusive, and timely candidate experience from first touch to offer
  • Support offer development, closing conversations, and handoff to onboarding
  • Track recruiting metrics and maintain accurate records in our ATS (Ashby)
  • Continuously improve recruiting processes, templates, and sourcing strategies as we scale

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a technical recruiter, including full-cycle ownership
  • Experience recruiting engineers in startup or high-growth environments
  • Strong sourcing skills and comfort engaging passive candidates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities without sacrificing quality
  • Collaborative, self-directed, and comfortable operating with limited structure
  • Experience working as a contractor or in fractional recruiting roles is a plus
