About the role

Responsibilities

  • Client acquisition and retention: Develop and expand long-term customer relationships and actively identify and win new business customers within the sales territory.
  • Sales planning and budget responsibility: Responsible for planning, implementing and achieving the regional sales budget to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Project and quotation management: Lead and close sales projects, including quote calculation, follow-up and measures to strengthen customer loyalty.
  • Contract and win-back management: Conduct lost-customer analyses, develop recovery strategies, and prepare and monitor contracts including action planning in case of deviations.
  • Complaints management and customer satisfaction: Ensure customer satisfaction by professionally handling feedback and complaints.
  • Sales reporting and external representation: Prepare sales reports and analyses to steer sales activities and represent the company at trade fairs and events.

Requirements

  • Some professional experience in sales, ideally in the B2B sector
  • Knowledge of the food or beverage industry, or equivalent expertise in this area, is required
  • Confident user of common MS Office applications and experience with an ERP system
  • Excellent German and English skills are required
  • High willingness to travel is expected
  • Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills, strong organizational abilities, and an independent, structured working style complete your profile
