UK Finance Manager supporting UK Finance Controller across core accounting functions. Building innovative solutions to ensure compliance across financial operations.
Responsibilities
Preparation of UK statutory financial statements and acting as a key contact for UK statutory and non-statutory audits
Support and management of the month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Ownership of technical accounting areas including finance leases, fixed assets, acquisitions, and foreign currency transactions
Oversight of UK tax requirements and treasury activities, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Strengthening financial controls and processes, supporting system changes, and resolving complex accounting issues
Requirements
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
Experience working within a finance team in a hands-on accounting role
Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving approach
