About the role
- Director Commercial Portfolio Manager overseeing IT project/product portfolio optimization. Managing budgets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align IT projects with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and optimization of the IT project/product portfolio within Commercial IT
- Ensure alignment with strategic business objectives
- Create and manage CapEx and OpEx budgets for commercial technology spend
- Monitor financial performance of the Commercial IT portfolio, including financial forecasts and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 7 years of experience in IT portfolio management, project management, or a related field, with 3+ years in a managerial role
- Relevant certifications in project management or portfolio management (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of IT project management methodologies and frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in portfolio management tools and software.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage operating and capital expense plans as well as track performance, forecasts, etc.
