About the role

  • Account Executive focused on SMB advertising solutions. Identify business opportunities and build long-term client relationships in Barcelona's hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, research, and prospect high-potential SMB accounts through self-driven outbound outreach, including cold calls and emails, in addition to working on leads qualified by the BDR team.
  • Own the full sales cycle from initial outreach or first pitch meeting through to deal closure.
  • Present tailored advertising strategies to SMB clients, aligning solutions such as Promoted Pins, Shopping Ads, and Video Ads to their specific marketing objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and expand a portfolio of SMB advertising clients, ensuring long-term relationships and consistent revenue growth.
  • Understand clients' business goals, media objectives, and challenges, turning data and insights into compelling narratives that demonstrate our Client’s value.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review campaign performance, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and remove any roadblocks to investment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in Salesforce, including opportunities, activities, and revenue forecasts.
  • Collaborate closely with the BDR team, providing feedback to continuously improve lead quality and alignment on target accounts.

Requirements

  • C2 level of Italian and C1 level of English (written and spoken).
  • Previous experience in digital advertising sales or B2B account management is strongly desirable.
  • Proven ability to self-prospect, build pipeline independently, and confidently pitch, negotiate, and close deals with business decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated experience in outbound prospecting and cold outreach alongside managing an existing client portfolio.
  • Strong experience using CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), analyzing customer data, and managing sales pipelines.
  • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (Pinterest Ads, Meta, Google Ads or similar) is a strong plus.
  • Clear and confident communicator, able to present complex solutions in a simple and compelling way.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with a consistent track record of hitting revenue targets.
