Responsibilities
Lead the Event Sales team both professionally and disciplinarily, including coaching, development and resource planning
Responsible for budget, revenue development & performance KPIs for the events area
Prepare reports, analyses & revenue forecasts for the Head of Events and executive management
Develop, implement and market innovative event concepts to increase venue utilization
Strategic planning & positioning of event spaces (including sister companies)
Coordinate with Revenue, Marketing, F&B & Operations
Monitor and optimize process quality – from lead to event completion
Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify trends and potential
Represent the company at trade fairs, events & in professional networks
Requirements
Several years of professional experience in events or sales, ideally in a leadership role
Completed training or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field
Strong analytical skills and good understanding of KPIs
Confident communication skills in German and English
Leadership skills with a focus on team development and company objectives
Resilient, solution-oriented and proactive – especially during times of change
Experience with Opera Cloud, MS Office & reporting tools desirable
