About the role

  • Leading the Event Sales Team at Hotel Telegraphenamt, driving innovative event concepts, and managing performance metrics. Overseeing budget and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Event Sales team both professionally and disciplinarily, including coaching, development and resource planning
  • Responsible for budget, revenue development & performance KPIs for the events area
  • Prepare reports, analyses & revenue forecasts for the Head of Events and executive management
  • Develop, implement and market innovative event concepts to increase venue utilization
  • Strategic planning & positioning of event spaces (including sister companies)
  • Coordinate with Revenue, Marketing, F&B & Operations
  • Monitor and optimize process quality – from lead to event completion
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify trends and potential
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, events & in professional networks

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in events or sales, ideally in a leadership role
  • Completed training or degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and good understanding of KPIs
  • Confident communication skills in German and English
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team development and company objectives
  • Resilient, solution-oriented and proactive – especially during times of change
  • Experience with Opera Cloud, MS Office & reporting tools desirable
