Senior Specialist managing a high volume of client events for a global law firm in New York. Coordinating logistics, budgeting, and event lifecycle management for successful execution.
Responsibilities
Pro-actively coordinating various aspects of the event lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
Drafting event communications and collateral that align with Latham branding
Developing and controlling budgets for each event; identifying, negotiating, and achieving cost savings with venues and vendors
Continuously staying abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trends
Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in event management
Experience using event management and CRM systems
Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events at one time
