- Senior Specialist managing a high volume of client events for a global law firm in New York. Coordinating logistics, budgeting, and event lifecycle management for successful execution.
Responsibilities
- Pro-actively coordinating various aspects of the event lifecycle, including planning meetings, checklists, budgets, expense processing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platform management, data management, post-event analysis
- Curating targeted invitations lists for each event, working closely with stakeholders and e-marketing team
- Drafting event communications and collateral that align with Latham branding
- Developing and controlling budgets for each event; identifying, negotiating, and achieving cost savings with venues and vendors
- Continuously staying abreast of event best practices as well as market and industry trends
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in event management
- Experience using event management and CRM systems
- Superior organizational skills to manage multiple events at one time
