About the role

  • Leading efforts to identify and secure photovoltaic project sites across Northern France. Overseeing a team while collaborating on strategic growth and operational processes.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Head of Development France for ground-mounted photovoltaic projects, you will be responsible for leading activities related to identifying and securing new projects within a defined area (Brittany, Loire-Atlantique, Normandy, Île-de-France, Centre-Val de Loire, Hauts-de-France, Grand Est, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes).
  • You will work in close collaboration with your counterpart responsible for prospecting in the Southwest, notably on process alignment and deal sourcing.
  • Define, under the authority of your manager, the growth strategy for the portfolio of ground-mounted and floating projects (commercial targets, prospecting channels, business models, priority action plans, etc.), build the associated roadmap and oversee its implementation.
  • Manage the team (around 7 people) on all operational aspects related to prospecting: site research, contacting landowners, preparing techno-economic offers that ensure required profitability levels, meetings, etc.
  • Train and support the team during on-site visits.
  • Develop and manage a network of business introducers.
  • Monitor the commercial and regulatory market together with the rest of the teams under your manager’s supervision.
  • Work closely with your Southwest prospecting counterpart to ensure proper development of processes, tools and methods in a spirit of continuous improvement (e.g., evolution of contract templates, project presentation documentation, etc.).
  • Implement reporting tools for Management to better steer and monitor activity (pipeline and hot opportunities) and the achievement of objectives.

Requirements

  • You have more than 4 years of proven experience securing land for ground-mounted PV projects and have management experience.
  • Close to your team and projects, you know how to drive your ideas and influence those around you while fostering a positive dynamic.
  • You are autonomous, comfortable verbally and in writing, and proficient with IT tools (notably the Office suite).
  • You hold a valid driving license (Category B).
