About the role

  • Community Manager responsible for all phases of property operations and team performance in Cincinnati. Enhancing community living through effective budget management and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Regional Director of Property Management, the Community Manager is responsible for all phases of community operations and on-site team performance.
  • Manage the companys objectives and property operating budget, with primary goals of increasing cash flow and maintaining quality living environment.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members ensuring adherence to TCBs Mission Statement and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage operating budgets, billing processes, accounting functions, nonpayment of rent processes and collection agency follow-up.
  • Oversee upkeep of property, inspections, monitoring of maintenance systems, and incident documentation for risk management.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and communication with residents, follow up on service requests or complaints.
  • Collaborate with Community Life staff and resident associations to foster community activities.
  • Recruit, train, coach, manage team members and provide evaluations to HR.
  • Available for emergencies, on call duties, resident functions and weekends as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS and 5 + years in progressive career path in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail Management required
  • 2 of which should be in a supervisory or management role
  • Excellent budget and financial management skills
  • Knowledge of all regulatory programs, policies and Federal Housing Laws and Guidelines required
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or other industry software experience required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Knowledge of Federal Fair Housing Laws & Guidelines a plus
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills are necessary to be successful in this role
  • Ability to speak a second language is a plus!
