Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and support team effectiveness.
Provide practical guidance on people-related matters including performance, engagement, and team structure.
Act as a primary point of contact for employees within assigned client groups, providing timely and practical guidance on People & Culture programs, policies, and day-to-day questions.
Build trust through responsiveness, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
Own the execution of core People & Culture processes across assigned client groups.
Ensure processes are delivered on time, with accuracy and consistency.
Support performance management, talent reviews, development planning, and onboarding.
Analyze people data, including engagement, turnover, and performance trends, to generate insights and support decision-making.
Requirements
5-8+ years of progressive HR experience
Experience supporting both leaders and employees in a growing or evolving organization
Strong execution and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence at a team level
Experience working with HR systems and maintaining data integrity
Solid understanding of employment practices and legislation in Canada, with exposure to the United States considered an asset
