About the role

  • Entry-Level IT Support Technician providing level 1 IT support for TANK's store employees in New Zealand. Troubleshooting hardware, software, network issues, and ensuring seamless operation of digital systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide level 1 IT support for employees across all store locations and support office, investigating, diagnosing, and resolving technology issues via phone, email, and in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of one of our digital systems in store.
  • Support staff with email, user-based applications, and general IT inquiries.
  • Monitor and maintain IT systems to minimise downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with and escalate issues to third-party support teams as needed.
  • Document IT processes, common issues, and solutions for future reference.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science or working towards it.
  • Preferably currently studying at University or a recent graduate with up to one year experience in a similar role or relevant practical experience is beneficial.
  • Must be comfortable to travel to store when required, you will be compensated through IRD mileage claim rates. (Must have a drivers license).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a well-organised approach.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
