About the role

  • Wintel & SolarWinds Support Engineer providing L1 Managed services for infrastructure at NEC Corporation. Monitoring and managing Data center network operations in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor all assigned infrastructure using SolarWinds
  • Identify and validate alerts, events, and threshold breaches; escalate as necessary to minimize false positives
  • Utilize ServiceNow ITSM for incident, request, and event management, ensuring accurate priority assignment (P1–P3) based on business impact
  • Perform first-level technical triage for Wintel and Linux environments, with immediate response to P1 incidents within SLA
  • Escalate issues and activate engineering resources according to incident priority, MTTx thresholds, and service impact
  • Maintain working knowledge of Windows Server, Enterprise Linux (RHEL, SUSE, Ubuntu), and both virtualized and physical server environments
  • Understand data center and store-based operational models
  • Ensure strict adherence to SLA and MTTx targets, with continuous tracking and early escalation of potential breaches
  • Uphold security, compliance, and governance standards

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Wintel and Linux environments
  • Hands-on experience with SolarWinds
  • Knowledge of SLAs, MTTx targets, and escalation protocols
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Graduate along with technical certification
  • Experience Range: 2-4 years of relevant experience in system administration and support
  • Candidate should be ready to work in 24*7 environment
  • Hybrid Model of working
  • CCNA, Networking certification, RHEL foundation certification preferred
