About the role

  • Jama Connect Administrator managing user permissions and workflows in engineering. Overseeing interactions between Jama and other Digital Engineering tools at Tangram Flex in Dayton, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage item types, relationship rules, and custom pick lists tailored to engineering workflows.
  • Manage the Jama Review Center processes to streamline development.
  • Maintain the data flow between Digital Engineering Tools (Jama, Jira, & Cameo).
  • Maintain "live traceability" within Jama to ensure compliance and visibility from high-level system requirements down to granular test cases.
  • Review requirements for style guide compliance across complex projects.

Requirements

  • Active DoD Security Clearance or held within the last 12 months.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience with Requirement Management Systems (preferably Jama Connect).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system configurations and optimize software-to-software integrations.
  • Systems Engineering Expertise: 5+ years of experience in writing requirements for complex systems.
  • Tool Integration: Technical proficiency in using Jama’s REST API or ReqIF for data exchange between platforms.
  • Ability to travel by air, car, or other transportation methods.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours/day).
  • Ability to lift and carry lightweight items (e.g., laptops, demo equipment, marketing materials) up to 25 lbs.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, using a mouse, writing, and handling equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read detailed technical documents, view computer screens, and operate software systems.
  • Auditory ability to participate in meetings, customer demos, and conference calls, including in potentially noisy environments (e.g., trade shows or military facilities).
  • Mobility to move between office spaces, customer sites, conference venues, and manufacturing or lab environments.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying work environments (e.g., corporate offices, government buildings, industrial or lab spaces)
