About the role
- As a Senior Product and Proposition Manager, oversee Business Banking portfolio management decisions. Collaborate with teams to develop and launch products and solutions for customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop existing and new products and/or services
- Develop customer level strategies & solutions tailored to customers’ needs
- Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team to guide stakeholders
- Evaluate technical feasibility, legal compliance, and potential risks of new products
- Monitor market trends and feedback to identify areas for improvement
- Manage comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments for products
- Monitor key metrics such as adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue generation
Requirements
- Risk & Controls expertise: Assess risks across products, processes, and platforms; identify control weaknesses; ensure adherence to the Barclays Controls Framework and evolving regulatory standards.
- Governance, reporting & continuous improvement: Document control assessments, produce insight-driven reports for stakeholders, and support effective governance, procedure management, and enterprise frameworks.
- Collaboration & Data Skills: Work with stakeholders across the bank to enhance control effectiveness, using data literacy - and optionally coding skills (SaaS, SQL, Python) - to analyse, interpret and inform improvements.
- Experience with risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
