About the role

  • Key Account Manager responsible for managing growth and relationships in the UK rental products market. Mentor junior team members and drive business growth in the Commercial department.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Account Growth Plans
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing, understanding and delivering their requirements
  • Develop (with Line Manager) clearly defined objectives and deliver agreed outputs
  • Driving business growth across UK
  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle
  • Developing target customer lists
  • Mentor junior team members and assist the Account Coordinators with key issues where required
  • Accountability for certain areas of the UK Commercial Budget
  • Gather industry information, monitor and record local competitor positioning and activities
  • Market Intelligence research
  • When required, produce and submit tender bid documentation, in line with DOA
  • Update CRM with relevant information
  • Prepare and deliver financial models and business cases for fleet sales, capex requests and transfers

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Management or similar discipline may be preferable
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Proven Sales, Account Management or Business Development Background
  • Knowledge of the energy industry would be advantageous
  • Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with using CRM systems would be preferable
