About the role

  • Area Manager overseeing operations at Sutter Health's urgent care and walk-in care locations in multiple counties. Leading teams to ensure patient care aligns with organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations in multiple same-day care locations across Sacramento, Yolo and Solano counties.
  • Provide operational leadership to assigned areas ensuring organizational goals are met.
  • Plan and organize operations and resources for effective delivery of patient care.
  • Establish protocols and practices for compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Identify best practices and standardize workflows/processes.
  • Manage capital and operational budgets to achieve financial targets.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field.
  • 8 years recent relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare operations in a non-acute setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of applicable State, federal, state licensing and other local regulations as they relate to Outpatient Services.
  • Ability to form relations with physicians and medical directors as well as with nursing and other key departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring.
  • Understanding of operations and workflows.
  • Tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills.
  • Ability to build and establish effective working partnerships with employees, peers, physicians and/or leaders.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work/interact with a diverse population while respecting cultural and linguistic differences.
