About the role

  • Marketing Manager at Sun Life responsible for strategizing and executing marketing campaigns. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance client engagement and drive business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end delivery, from ideation to execution to analysis, of marketing campaigns in channels such as email, web, mobile, and call centre etc.
  • Translate business asks into marketing strategies.
  • Design Client engagement strategies to solve business problems and achieve business objectives.
  • Drive alignment to strategies through socializing them with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy for new Sun Life insurance products and initiatives, in an effort to drive business growth.
  • Proactively identify ways for the business to gain competitive advantage through marketing opportunities including digital solutions, paid and earned media.
  • Create a Client journey map by identifying key moments of truths and Client needs.
  • Develop clear, relevant marketing content by collaborating with Copywriters and Designers while ensuring adherence to Sun Life brand guidelines.
  • Manage requests for approval working with Compliance / Legal.
  • Work with Data leads and Data analysts to create impactful target segments for campaigns, understanding Client profiles and selecting relevant criteria.
  • Implement A/B tests for learnings where applicable.
  • Lead in depth reporting on campaign results with a strong focus on insights and action plans.
  • Develop relevant marketing documentation (strategy, briefs, results including metrics and success measures).
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to produce best-in-class effective marketing outputs.
  • Collaborate with agile marketing teams on creative themes, communication strategies and program plans to deploy via electronic, web, print or video media.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with our business partners and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to ideation and brainstorming to help build innovative marketing solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years progressive marketing experience
  • University or college degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
  • Proficiency in building AEM campaigns
  • Experience with digital marketing in a direct marketing capacity (email, social media, online ads, push notifications, etc.)
  • Experience with marketing and digital data analytics with the ability to distill meaningful insights and use them to solve problems
  • Ability to lead cross functional projects and handle multiple priorities on time with excellence
  • Communications skills (verbal and written) to effectively deliver complex information or ideas; ability to develop strong relationships
  • Experience in progressive copywriting and editing, especially for digital tactics.
  • Familiar with working on an agile team.
