Responsibilities
Assist in designing, developing, modifying, and verifying mechanical components for medical devices under supervision.
Support prototyping and bench testing activities to validate designs.
Contribute to root cause analysis and evaluate solutions against requirements.
Conduct studies and research to support product design decisions.
Interpret customer needs and understand product use and clinical procedures.
Learn and apply industry standards, regulatory requirements, and design controls; assist in creating engineering documentation such as Design History Files.
Work with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project success.
Demonstrate ownership, integrity, and teamwork while learning processes, systems, and building strong relationships.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, BioMedical, or related discipline.
0+ years of work experience
Fundamental knowledge and understanding of mechanical engineering practices and tools, design principles.
Basic knowledge of design and concept generation CAD or CAE modeling tools (ProE, Creo or SolidWorks preferred)
Basic knowledge of analysis tools and statistical methods
Technical ability to create, read, and interpret engineering drawings and models, applying GD&T and CAE tools.
Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing methods
