Responsibilities
Design and optimize propulsion system components with a focus on performance, reliability, and manufacturability
Lead the development of mechanical designs, including detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and GD&T application
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation such as specifications, assembly procedures, and design justifications
Support propulsion system integration and layout planning within the overall vehicle architecture
Collaborate with propulsion engineers and analysts to iterate and improve designs based on test and simulation feedback
Coordinate with suppliers and machine shops to ensure feasibility and quality in manufacturing
Requirements
BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
5+ years in mechanical design, preferably in the space sector
Strong skills in CAD design (preferably Siemens NX)
Familiarity with PLM tools (preferably Teamcenter)
Proficiency in ISO GPS, tolerance analysis, and creation of accurate technical drawings and specifications
Strong understanding of DfM principles, including tolerance analysis, material selection, and process limitations
Experience preparing technical documentation, including specifications and design files
Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and French is a plus
